I really don't have a thing for cats. This song is named after Dale Orris's cat, Ringo. This is a traditional big band blues. Soloists are; Dale Orris,tpt;Dick Adams,tenor sax;Mike Pryor, baritone sax; Rick Hirsch,alto sax. The rhythm section is Bob Leidhecker, kit;Steve Adams,Keys, and Chris Wheeland, Bass. The Trombones are; Todd Hunter lead bone;Glenn Hosterman,and Kevin Henry. The trumpets are;Jeff Chubb lead tpt;Dale Orris, and yours truly, Rob Byham. We are The Back Bay Express

finally a song not about cats. This song was written for my parents,Nellie and Bill (Buck for short) Byham, 40th wedding anniversary,It was later rededicated to Cathy's(my wife)parents.Arthur, Pat ( Cathy's late mom) and Joanne(Cathy's stepmom) Muise. The song has been described to me by others, as a pop/Philly soul song. This song was performed using midi tech, The trumpets and the vocals are real but the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Jesus allowed a woman to be the first person who saw Him when He arose from the grave. I am grateful for all the women in my life and how they influenced me. I was raised by my grandmother and some grand aunts for the first six years of my life. Aunt Matty (Matilda) was a beautiful blonde gray haired woman who was saved by God from a past. I remember her standing in the kitchen with her long hair in her face as she prepared lunch for me. Grace is a wonderful thing.
