Bio: Juanita was born and raised very pour in Medicine Hat Alberta Canada and started piano lessons at age 5. From the start Juanita and the piano were as one. Classically trained as a youth.through the Royal Conservatory of Music, Canada. During her youth Juanita won many awards at the Rotary Music Festival and other piano competitions. In the early 1980’s Juanita won a music scholarship to Anderson University in Anderson IN. Upon her return to Canada the Medicine Hat college dance department hired Juanita as the ballet accompanist. Juanita accompanied Ballet classes and exams for over 20 years in Alberta. Juanita took up some jazz training in the mid 1990’s. Juanita has been a church pianist since age twelve and in 2002 started touring Canada and the USA with her music ministry Over the past few years she has appeared on four different Canadian Christian TV programs. Wav.file, and Lifeline, The Miracle Channel, Lightbridge AB. aired all over Canada the USA, Asia and Europe. Its A New Day, Trinity TV Winnipeg Manitoba, aired across Canada/USA and several European countries and 100 Huntley St, Burlington Ontario, aired all over the world as well. Juanita entered the piano competition at GMA's “Music In The Rockies” in Colorado, where she was selected as one of the days top artists for a showcase in Café Estes. In 2005 her second CD "Attitudes" was nominated for two, SHAI Gospel Music Awards, two CGMA Covenant Christian Music Awards and two Los Angeles Music Awards. The Ambassadors Banquet, an event arranged by The Great Commission Foundation, gave Juanita the privilege of performing for five world ambassadors. In June 2006 she met up with Christian Music Presenters from Nashville TN. Juanita’s music ministry was fully endorsed by them a short time later. Two great opportunities to play in late 2006 were, Carnegie Hall NY NY in December for “A Christmas Jazz Celebration”. A few days later she had also been selected to play at The White House, Washington DC, for “The Pageant Of Peace”. In January of 2007 she was asked to perform at the SHAI Gospel Music Awards in Edmonton Canada. Juanita has just released her double Christmas CD, through “AngelAID Productions of Jacksonville Florida. “Angels Believe In Santa Claus” and “The Spirit Of Christmas”
